Pakistan, May 5 -- The Pakistan Navy launched a humanitarian rescues mission in the Arabian Sea after a cargo vessel carrying Indian and Indonesian crew members suffered a technical malfunction during its voyage.

According to security officials, the vessel, identified as MV Gautam, was travelling from Oman to India when it developed mechanical issues at sea, prompting an emergency request for assistance.

The distress alert was reportedly relayed by the Maritime Rescue and Coordination Center in Mumbai, which contacted Pakistani authorities to seek urgent help for the stranded crew.
