Pakistan, July 19 -- The vibrant World Champions Legends League kicked off in the UK with an exciting match where Pakistan's legends team defeated the host England by 5 runs. The thrilling T20 game was held in Birmingham.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 160 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Captain Mohammad Hafeez led the charge with a brilliant 54 runs, while Aamir Yamin contributed a solid 27 runs. England bowlers Liam Plunkett and Chris Tremlett each took two wickets.
Chasing 161, England struggled against tight bowling from Pakistan. The English batsmen managed 155 runs for 3 wickets in their 20 overs and fell short of the target.
