Pakistan, June 26 -- Director General of Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa has unveiled a comprehensive digital transformation plan aimed at making passport services faster, more transparent and easier to access through modern technology. The initiative introduces a passport mobile application, home delivery service and QR code-based digital payments to improve efficiency while eliminating delays and illegal practices.
The upcoming passport mobile application will allow citizens to apply for new passports, renew existing documents, track application progress and access essential services directly from their mobile phones.
