Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- The National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) has issued an advance alert for possible flooding and landslides across several parts of Pakistan from August 13 to August 15. Pakistan flood and landslide alert comes as heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in upper areas, with a risk of flooding in rivers, streams and mountainous areas.
According to the NEOC, heavy rainfall is expected at some locations, while flash floods may occur in streams and mountain rivers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, flood conditions are expected in areas including Chitral, Swat, Shangla, Battagram, Upper and Lower Dir, Kohistan and Abbottabad. Mansehra, Haripur, Bajau...
