Pakistan, Sept. 28 -- Gold prices in Pakistan recorded one of their sharpest declines on Monday. The drop also followed a major fall in international bullion prices. The latest rates were issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs12,800 per tola. As a result, the new rate reached Rs438,136 per tola. The association provided the latest figures for the local bullion market.

Meanwhile, 24-karat gold also became cheaper on a 10-gram basis. Its price dropped by Rs10,973, reaching Rs375,631. The rate of 22-karat gold fell by Rs10,059 to Rs344,340 per 10 grams.
