Pakistan, Aug. 6 -- Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan increased by $13 million during the week ending July 31, 2026. The reserves reached $17.04 billion, according to the central bank.

The State Bank of Pakistan reported that the country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves stood at $22.47 billion. Commercial banks held $5.43 billion in net foreign exchange reserves during the period.

The central bank said its foreign exchange reserves rose to $17.043 billion from the previous week. However, reserves had declined by $229 million during the week ending July 24.
