Pakistan, July 22 -- Pakistan received $12.14 billion in foreign funding during the fiscal year 2024-25, according to a report by the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The ministry released the external financing report, which also includes $2 billion from two IMF tranches. With this, total financial inflows for the year reach approximately $14.14 billion.

The government had estimated foreign funding of $19.39 billion for the year. However, the actual inflow remained significantly lower. In comparison, Pakistan had received $9.81 billion in foreign funding during the previous fiscal year 2023-24. June 2025 saw the highest inflow, with $5.25 billion in external financing.
