Pakistan, May 13 -- Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has said Pakistan is well positioned to emerge as a regional hub for digital innovation and technology-led growth. He made the remarks while addressing a ceremony in Islamabad marking the launch of the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters. His statement reflects the government's push to expand the country's digital economy.

Dar said Pakistan's IT sector is growing rapidly, supported by a young workforce and expanding investment opportunities. He added that the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is shifting focus toward digital infrastructure and innovation. The initiative includes artificial intelligence, ICT development and smart connectivity systems.
