Pakistan, Sept. 17 -- The government has reduced the petrol price by Rs0.43 per litre while increasing high-speed diesel by Rs3.47. The revised prices will take effect from Friday, September 18. Petrol will now cost Rs390.79 per litre across the country. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel will sell at Rs424.92 per litre. The government continues to charge Rs114 per litre in taxes and duties on petrol. It also collects Rs100 per litre in taxes and duties on diesel.
