Pakistan, Sept. 8 -- Pakistan captain Fatima Sana has been fined 10 percent of her match fee for breaching Level 1 of the International Cricket Council's Code of Conduct during her team's Women's Asia Cup defeat by India.
Fatima was found to have breached Article 2.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, relating to language, actions or gestures that disparage or could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon dismissal.
One demerit point was also added to her disciplinary record, taking her total to two in a 24-month period. Her previous demerit point came during a T20 international against Ireland in Dublin on August 6, 2025.
