Pakistan, June 30 -- Pakistan has achieved a significant milestone in the olive sector by becoming a permanent member of the International Olive Council (IOC), marking a major step in the country's efforts to strengthen olive cultivation and expand its presence in the global olive industry.
Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain represented Pakistan at the 123rd session of the International Olive Council in Lisbon, Portugal, where the country officially assumed its permanent seat for the first time.
