Pakistan, July 16 -- Pakistan has become a founding member of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO), marking a significant step in expanding international cooperation on artificial intelligence. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar signed the founding agreement during the organisation's inaugural ceremony in Shanghai. The move reflects Pakistan's growing focus on AI, digital innovation, and emerging technologies.

Ishaq Dar arrived in China on a two-day official visit at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
