Pakistan, July 29 -- Pakistan has expressed support for Jordan's proposal to convene a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries over the worsening Palestine situation. The move aims to strengthen diplomatic efforts regarding developments in Gaza and the occupied West Bank. Islamabad reaffirmed its commitment to Palestinian rights and regional peace.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi. During the conversation, both leaders discussed the deteriorating situation in Palestine. They agreed on the need to intensify diplomatic efforts.
