Pakistan, July 4 -- Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the maritime and transport sectors, reaffirming their commitment to enhancing economic connectivity, developing modern infrastructure and promoting sustainable growth.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, and Turkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, held in Istanbul.
