Pakistan, Oct. 5 -- Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Field Marshal Asim Munir are in Riyadh for a high-level meeting under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement. The Strategic Political and Defence Committee meeting will review regional developments and defence cooperation.

According to Pakistan's Foreign Office, senior officials from Saudi Arabia and Turkiye will also attend the meeting. Their delegations include foreign and defence ministers and chiefs of general staff. The participants will discuss regional security developments and cooperation under the agreement.
