Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- Pakistan and Norway have agreed to strengthen cooperation in counterterrorism, illegal migration, police training and mutual legal assistance during high-level talks in Islamabad.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide reviewed bilateral ties, regional developments and security challenges during their meeting on Friday.

Naqvi said government measures had reduced illegal immigration by 47 percent, while stressing zero tolerance for irregular migration and greater opportunities for lawful movement.
