Pakistan, Sept. 22 -- Pakistan and Libya have agreed to strengthen cooperation in trade, education, and business relations. The understanding emerged during a meeting between their foreign ministers in Islamabad. Both sides also discussed regional developments and their effects on peace, energy, and economies.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar met Libya's acting foreign minister, Taher Al-Baour. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to further strengthen its friendly relations with Libya. The two officials also exchanged views on regional and international developments during the meeting.
