Pakistan, Dec. 18 -- Pakistan Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, met with Commander-in-Chief of the Libya Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, to discuss matters of mutual interest and regional security, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.
The meeting, held during Field Marshal Munir's official visit to Libya, also included the presence of Lieutenant General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces. Upon arrival, Field Marshal Munir was received with a guard of honour by a well-drilled contingent of the Libyan Armed Forces.
