Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Pakistan and Kuwait on Thursday signed the "Protocol Agreement-2026", aimed at significantly enhancing military cooperation between the two countries, the Ministry of Defence said.

The agreement was signed during a visit by a high-level Kuwaiti delegation led by Defence Minister Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Saleem Al-Sabah, accompanied by Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Khalid Darj Saad Al-Shriaan.

The delegation called on Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi, where the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, particularly bilateral defence relations and security cooperation.
