Pakistan, May 25 -- Pakistan and China on Sunday agreed to form a joint working group to assess potential cooperation in battery cell manufacturing and advanced energy technologies in line with Pakistan's growing demand for electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

In this regard, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan, Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, and Federal Secretary for Industries and Production Saif Anjum, visited the headquarters of CALB Group in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, as part of ongoing engagements aimed at strengthening Pakistan-China industrial and technology cooperation, said a news release.
