Pakistan, April 23 -- Over 3.235 million metric tons of rice worth $1.894 million were exported during last 09 months of the current financial year as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of the last year.

During the period from July-March 2025-26 rice exports from the country decreased by 38.55 percent as exports of the rice during the first 09 months of last financial year were recorded 4.678 million tons worth of $2.757 million.

According the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the country earned $598.968 million by exporting about 558,296 metric tons of Basmati rice as against the exports of 658,703 metric tons valued at $676.967 million of the same period of the last year.
