Pakistan, July 4 -- More than 1,200 workplace harassment complaints were filed with the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) during the past year. Official data shows that 521 men and 769 women approached the ombudsperson over workplace-related grievances. The figures reflect increasing awareness of legal protections and greater willingness to report workplace misconduct.

According to official statistics, FOSPAH registered a total of 1,290 complaints during the reporting period. The ombudsperson's office said it disposed of 1,104 cases during the same period. Officials noted that employees from different sectors sought legal remedies under Pakistan's workplace harassment framework.
