Pakistan, July 27 -- The Lahore Mass Transit Authority has discontinued the token and card payment system for the Orange Line Train, Speedo buses and Metro Bus services, replacing it with digital payment methods.

Mass Transit Authority In-charge Uzair Shah said commuters will no longer be able to use the old transit cards, adding that any remaining balance on those cards will not be refunded.

He said passengers can now pay fares using the T-Cash Card, the official mobile application and ATM cards while travelling on the city's mass transit network.
