Pakistan, Aug. 31 -- A 50-year-old woman was killed and a 20-year-old man injured in a road accident while they were traveling on a motorcycle in the Manawan area of Lahore, police sources quoted by TV channel on Sunday.

According to an initial report, the woman, identified as Rukhsana, was traveling with Zeeshan on the main road in Manawan when the motorcycle lost control and both riders fell onto the road. A passing oil tanker ran over Rukhsana, killing her on the spot. The tanker driver fled the spot following the accident. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
