Pakistan, Sept. 3 -- One person was killed while another sustained injuries in a firing incident in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi on Wednesday.

According to initial reports, unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle opened fire at the victims, killing one person on the spot and injuring another.

Following the incident, rescue and police teams reached the scene after receiving information and shifted the deceased and injured person to a nearby hospital. Police have launched a search operation to trace and apprehend the attackers. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
