Pakistan, Sept. 14 -- Oman has postponed a planned meeting between Iran and Gulf countries over the Strait of Hormuz. The talks were scheduled for Monday in Salalah as regional tensions continue to disrupt the vital waterway.

The meeting aimed to discuss arrangements for the future of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran had said Iraq and Gulf countries would participate, but regional governments had not confirmed their attendance. Bahrain had already ruled out joining the meeting.
