Pakistan, July 22 -- Global oil prices posted modest gains on Wednesday after the United States launched another round of military strikes on Iran, heightening concerns over potential disruptions to global energy supplies amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Brent crude futures rose by 50 cents, or 0.55%, to $91.51 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 30 cents, or 0.36%, to $84.64 per barrel in early trading. The increases followed Tuesday's settlement at the highest levels seen in five weeks.
