Pakistan, July 3 -- The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has intensified nationwide enforcement actions against those involved in selling Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) above the notified price and engaging in profiteering.
Taking notice of public complaints and reports published in various newspapers, OGRA, in coordination with the district administration, is conducting enforcement operations in cities across the country.
As part of the crackdown, six LPG plants in Rawalpindi have so far been sealed for violating the notified LPG price.
According to a news release, the OGRA reiterated its commitment to protecting consumers' rights and ensuring the availability of LPG at the notified price.
