Pakistan, June 3 -- State-owned Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced a new oil and gas discovery in Sanghar district, Sindh, marking another addition to Pakistan's domestic energy resources.

The discovery was made at the Bobi Deep-1 exploratory well located within the Bobi and Dhamraki Mining Lease area. In a notification submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, OGDCL said the find was confirmed after evaluating hydrocarbon potential in the Massive Sand interval of the Lower Goru Formation.
