Pakistan, Aug. 14 -- North Korea warned Friday that it could develop a stronger deterrent against upcoming US-South Korea military exercises. The annual drills will begin Monday and continue for 11 days. Washington and Seoul say the exercises will strengthen their ability to respond to North Korean threats. However, Pyongyang views the drills as preparations for an invasion. The warning comes days after North Korea launched another ballistic missile toward the sea.
