Pakistan, Sept. 11 -- Pakistan on Thursday reaffirmed its strong support for China's Global Governance Initiative (GGI), while condemning what it described as India's systematic persecution of Kashmiris and Muslims and highlighting a major international narcotics operation disrupted through intelligence shared by Pakistan.

Speaking at the weekly Foreign Office briefing, the spokesperson, Sajjad Haider Khan said Pakistan had been at the forefront of supporting the GGI, describing it as a global public good aimed at promoting justice, equity and inclusion in international relations.

Pakistan, he said, was ready to work with China and other countries to make deeper and more substantive advances in implementing the initiative.
