Pakistan, April 30 -- At least nine suspects were killed and two police personnel injured during separate encounters with the Crime Control Department (CCD) in different parts of Punjab on Tuesday.
In Lahore, six suspects lost their lives in multiple operations. According to police, a CCD team raided the Sundar area after receiving information about the presence of wanted robbers. The suspects allegedly opened fire on the raiding party, injuring two constables, identified as Taswar and Namdar. Police retaliated, killing two suspects, later identified as Alam Sher and Hashim, who were reportedly wanted in over 60 cases.
