Pakistan, Oct. 28 -- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing bloc held a narrow early lead over opposition parties in Israel's parliamentary elections. Initial results released by local media indicated Netanyahu's bloc secured 50.4 percent of votes compared to 49.6 percent for the opposition with roughly 28 percent of ballots counted. However, preliminary projections showed neither political coalition securing the 61 seats required to form a majority in the 120-member Knesset. Consequently, both major political camps face complex post-election coalition negotiations to determine the next governing administration.
