Pakistan, Jan. 22 -- Nestle announced an additional $60 million investment in Pakistan and plans a major expansion of its operations in the country. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met Remy Ejel, Nestle's Asia, Oceania, and Africa CEO, at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The announcement highlights Nestle's long-term commitment to Pakistan and its growing regional role.
During a high-level business roundtable chaired by Aurangzeb, global corporate leaders discussed Pakistan's reform trajectory, investment climate, and growth potential. Ejel said Nestle intends to use Pakistan as a regional manufacturing and export hub, supplying 26 countries. He expressed confidence in robust business growth in Pakistan in the coming years.
