Pakistan, June 21 -- The National Disaster Management Authority has issued a nationwide weather alert, warning that heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, strong winds and dust storms may affect multiple regions over the next 12 to 24 hours. Authorities have also cautioned about the risk of urban flooding, flash floods and landslides in several vulnerable areas.

According to the National Emergencies Operation Centre, the expected weather pattern aligns with seasonal forecasts issued months earlier. The NDMA said it has continuously shared risk assessments and early warnings with federal, provincial and district administrations to strengthen preparedness and support timely emergency response efforts.
