Pakistan, July 19 -- The National Cyber Crime Investigation (NCCIA) has summoned Noreen Niazi, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, in connection with an investigation into alleged social media posts targeting state institutions. Authorities have directed her to appear before the 's Islamabad office on July 20 to record her statement as part of the ongoing inquiry.

According to an official notice issued under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, Niazi has been asked to report to the NCCIA office in Sector G-13 at 12 noon. The notice states that investigators are examining allegations that false and inflammatory content was circulated on social media with the intention of defaming a state institution.
