Pakistan, Aug. 15 -- PML-N President Nawaz Sharif said the political situation in Azad Kashmir was concerning and blamed previous governments for failing their responsibilities. Addressing the party's Azad Kashmir parliamentary party meeting in Murree, he said public confidence must not be undermined.

Nawaz said his party would seek to transform Azad Kashmir through development initiatives similar to those implemented in Punjab. He said the welfare of Azad Kashmir's people should remain the government's priority, including greater funding and improved public services.
