Pakistan, Aug. 28 -- Senior Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz has revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer in 2024 and said reciting Surah Rahman played a major role in helping him recover.

In a recent interview, the veteran actor opened up about his battle with cancer and shared details about the difficult period following his diagnosis.

Nauman Ijaz said he was diagnosed with cancer near his ear in 2024. Recalling the day he received the diagnosis, he said he looked towards the sky during prayer and told Allah that he had never wronged anyone or taken anyone's rights.
