Pakistan, May 16 -- Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday held talks with an Egyptian delegation to expand cooperation in counter-terrorism, cybercrime, and narcotics control. Both sides also discussed strengthening safe city initiatives and institutional collaboration. The meeting reflects growing security ties between Pakistan and Egypt.

According to the Interior Ministry, both countries agreed to enhance coordination between their respective interior ministries. Officials said cooperation will also extend to joint training programs for police officers. Furthermore, the National Police Academy and Egypt's police academy will work together on capacity building.
