Pakistan, Aug. 18 -- Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Monday met with Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati at Parliament House. The meeting discussed parliamentary affairs, legislation and other matters of mutual interest in detail. The participants agreed to further strengthen linkages and parliamentary cooperation among the federal, provincial and other legislative institutions.

The meeting also discussed matters relating to the strengthening of parliamentary institutions, promotion of democratic values, resolution of public issues and effective performance of legislative institutions.
