Pakistan, Oct. 4 -- Delhi Police stopped a plan to kill Indian comedian Munawar Faruqui and arrested two suspects. The two men, Rahul and Sahil Kumar, belong to criminal gangs led by Rohit Godara and Virendra Charn. Police said the suspects followed Faruqui for months in cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru. They were planning to attack him to gain fame and please their gang leaders.

According to police, the gangs were angry at Faruqui for his past jokes about Hindu gods. Their goal was to kill him and send a strong message. Police tracked the suspects through intelligence and caught them near Jaitpur Road in Delhi. During the arrest, the men opened fire, and police shot them in the legs. Both were injured and taken to a hospital.
