Pakistan, Aug. 4 -- Hosts Morocco and Algeria have secured places in the quarter-finals of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after finishing first and second in Group A. Morocco topped the group with seven points despite playing out a goalless draw against Senegal, while Algeria defeated Kenya 2-0 to finish second with six points. Meanwhile, Senegal and Kenya were eliminated from the tournament after failing to qualify for the knockout stage.
