Pakistan, May 11 -- Actress Mishi Khan has reacted strongly to a viral video showing religious scholar Tariq Jamil refusing to shake hands with a child, expressing disappointment over the incident.

In her response, Mishi Khan said she was saddened after watching the video, stating that the child may have been eagerly waiting for the moment and could have been emotionally affected by the refusal. She said that when people try to follow the teachings of respected scholars, such actions set an example and inconsistency in behaviour sends a negative message.
