Pakistan, June 25 -- Pakistan white-ball head coach Mike Hesson has outlined a long-term development strategy aimed at strengthening the national team ahead of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027. Speaking during the ongoing white-ball camp at the National Cricket Academy, Hesson emphasized that current preparations must deliver lasting benefits rather than short-term gains.

Hesson revealed that approximately 27 to 28 players are participating in the training camp, which has already completed its initial phase. The first two weeks focused on comprehensive medical evaluations and fitness assessments, while the next stage will combine cricket-specific skill development with intensive physical conditioning programmes.
