Pakistan, Oct. 11 -- Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon, while strongly reacting to the statement of Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, said that calling assistance for the poor charity (begging) is a manifestation of an anti-poor and hypocritical mindset. It is shameful for Hafiz Naeem to ridicule poor women and needy families. Doing politics over providing support to the poor for two meals a day is insensitivity. Helping the poor is not their humiliation but the responsibility of the state and government.
