Pakistan, July 1 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that the provincial government will provide 50,000 tractors to farmers over the next three years, describing it as the largest tractor distribution programme in Punjab's history. Speaking during a meeting of the provincial Agriculture Department, she said the initiative aims to strengthen farmers and improve agricultural productivity through greater mechanisation.

During the meeting, officials reviewed the progress of the Kisan Card programme and various agricultural mechanisation projects.
