Punjab is set to see a major upgrade in public transport with 100 new electric buses arriving soon. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced these buses have been shipped from Shanghai and will reach Punjab in the coming weeks. She promised that by December, every district in the province will have access to these modern buses, with fares set at just Rs20.

The new electric buses come equipped with air-conditioning, climate control, and CCTV cameras to ensure women's safety and prevent harassment.
