Pakistan, July 19 -- Police arrested a young man after he allegedly fired several shots into the air near the vehicle of Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar in Lahore's Defence Housing Authority. Authorities said the incident occurred on Saturday night when the suspect's vehicle overtook the minister's car before the occupant reportedly opened aerial fire, prompting an immediate security response.

According to police, officers quickly launched an operation using Safe City surveillance cameras and other modern investigative tools to trace the suspect. As a result, they arrested the accused, recovered the weapon allegedly used in the firing and seized the vehicle involved in the incident for further investigation.
