Pakistan, Oct. 9 -- RAWALPINDI - A major of the Pakistan Army was martyred while seven terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the military's media wing said on Thursday.
The operation took place on Wednesday, targeting the reported presence of "khawarij belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij" in the Daraban area of D.I. Khan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). "Seven Indian-sponsored khawarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by the security forces," the ISPR said.
