Pakistan, Sept. 13 -- Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has married in a private nikah ceremony at Jati Umra in Lahore. The family held the ceremony with a limited group of relatives and close guests. PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz attended the gathering. Other members of the Sharif family and close relatives also joined the ceremony.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also attended the private event. The ceremony remained largely restricted to family members and senior political figures.
